How do I book a session?

If you are interested in booking a session, please email me at the email address listed under the “contact” page or fill in the details on that page and press “send.” Please try to schedule a few weeks to a month in advance. If you are scheduling a pregnancy session, the best time to have a portrait session done is between 30 and 34 weeks.

When is the sitting fee due?

The entire non-refundable sitting fee is due within 7 days of booking your portrait session. If you do not pay the sitting fee within 7 days of booking your session, your preferred session date will no longer be held for you and will be available for other clients to book.

Where will the portrait session take place?

The location of the portrait session is completely up to you. You can have it at a park, the beach, downtown, in your backyard, in your house, etc. If you need any suggestions I would be happy to help you out.  

What should I wear the day of the portrait session?

Solid colors are best. Try to stay away from bright whites and busy patterns. Keep in mind the setting of the portrait session as well. Once the portrait session is paid for, I schedule a pre-portrait session consultation in person, over the phone, or via email. During the consultation we can go over appropriate colors to wear and I will answer any other questions that you may have.

How long will the portrait session take?

The portrait session can take up to one hour, depending on the ages and the number of people being photographed. My goal is to make the portrait session as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. During your session I will take posed pictures as well as candid pictures.  If there are specific poses that you would like, please let me know.

What happens if I need to cancel?

No problem. I can reschedule your portrait session for my next available appointment. If you do need to reschedule please call me at your earliest convenience.  

What can I expect once the session is done?

Once the session is done, I will contact you within two weeks. During those two weeks I will be editing the photographs and uploading them to your personal online gallery. Once your photographs are up in the online gallery I will email you with your password that will allow you to view your pictures. Your gallery will be up for two weeks, which will allow you time to choose which pictures you like the most and what packages and/or prints you would like to order. You will be able to place your order on your personal online gallery or you can email me and I will be happy to place the order for you.
