Hello everyone! It's been a while since I have posted to my blog. Not to worry, I am still around. I recently moved from Stafford, Virginia to Annapolis, Maryland. Ahhh the joys of being a military family! This move was especially stressful because we were renovating our house in Annapolis at the same time as we were moving. We are finally settled in Annapolis and getting back into the swing of things. Before we moved from Virginia I was asked to photograph the R Family at Mt. Vernon. That was my very first session at Mt. Vernon and it was oh so fun! I would love to do another session there. Mrs. R wanted to make sure they were able to do a family portrait session with a little Virginia flair in it before they moved out of state. The R Family was very fun to photograph. We started at the main house as soon as Mt. Vernon opened. Luckily we were able to get in a few shots before the crowds started to filter in. I especially love the photos we took by the cow pastures. It gave their family portrait a rustic Virginia feel. Here are a few photos from their session.
